Executive Message

Dear Friends of Goodwill,

Richard and Jeanie

Thank you for making this a very rewarding year for Goodwill Industries of the Columbia. We are pleased to state that the heartbeat of your Goodwill is strong financially which allows us to do even more in the delivery of human services that change lives. From the information contained in our website, there is one point that we hope remains with you – that Goodwill is more than a thrift store. Goodwill is a special place where lives are changed, hope is restored and dreams of a better life fulfilled. Goodwill offers real work that leads to self sufficiency, independence and greater self-esteem to those with special needs.

Now in our 39th year of service, Goodwill remains firmly committed to meeting the job-training and employment needs of individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

We hope that through the information we have provided, you will want to find out more of what we’re doing to improve lives of people in the communities we serve. Goodwill is more than a thrift store; through your generous donations of clothing and household items we turn your donations into dollars, dollars into training and training into jobs.

We sincerely appreciate your continued support making our community a better place for all of us.

Sincerely yours,

Richard Hare Jeanie Welch
President, Goodwill Board of Directors Executive Director
