What to Donate

Goodwill accepts many items such as gently used clothing, household goods, knick-knacks, furniture, shoes, books, sporting goods, small appliances and other miscellaneous items.

However, there are some types of items we cannot accept due to our inability to sell or provide repair or refurbishing services. Some of the items we cannot accept include:

• Stained, broken or torn furniture
• Soiled or stained mattresses
• Major appliances
• Electrical or mechanical items that do not work
• Items recalled by the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC)
• Waterbed frames and mattresses
• Chemicals: Paint, poisons or flammables
• Used tires
• Computers and console televisions

Some of the reasons we cannot accept some items include safety hazards, chemical hazards, inability to get spare parts and landfill disposal fees. Thank you for your understanding!
